Prior to joining Richard, Wayne & Roberts, Mrs. McLaughlin was an attorney in private practice and specialized in business and employment-based immigration law. She transitioned into legal recruiting in 2004, focusing on the permanent placement of lateral associates and partners with law firms as well as attorneys with in-house corporate legal departments. Since that time, Mrs. McLaughlin has developed both law firm and corporate clients.
Mrs. McLaughlin is admitted to the State Bar of Texas as well as the State Bar of California. She has maintained her law licenses and attends continuing legal education (“CLE”) seminars to keep abreast of current legal issues and to maintain her legal contacts.
Mrs. McLaughlin received her B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas in 1992. She attended Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California, where she earned her JD in 1996.
Mrs. McLaughlin and her husband are very involved philanthropically in Houston and serve as Chairs of the Professionals Circle Advisory Board for the John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science.
