Junior Real Estate Manager - Chicago
A national retailer with over 1000 stores is adding about 125 new stores a year nationwide.  They have created a new position due to growth.  It ill be based in the Chicago area working out of the house.  The position will be a Junior Real Estate Manager that will work along side a more Senior Real Estate Manager to cover a 1-3 state area. This person will work with the Sr. Real Estate Manager to handle site selection and land purchase for built to suit and self developed locations.  The Jr. Real Estate Manager will be responsible for about 5-7 new locations per year and grow in to a Real Manager role where they will eventually be responsible for the entire territory on their own handling new site selection of 15-20 free standing locations per year.  The ideal candidate will have about 2-5 years of real estate experience with a retailer, restaurant chain, grocery chain or oil company handling site selection of in line or free standing stores.  This person does not need to have extensive land purchase experience.  The position will pay a competitive base salary and provide a car and home office.  Ref# 1231812 Contact: nicoles@rwr.com

Construction Manager – Los Angeles
A national retailer that is rolling out approximately 40 new stores a year is looking for a Construction Manager in Los Angeles for their mall development. They are a specialty retailer that is based in Southern CA and mainly go in to A+ mall locations.  They are looking for someone with a strong mall construction background,

The ideal candidate will come from a specialty mall retailer and be accustomed to a similar size roll out program. 

·          Must be willing to travel extensively.

·          This person will oversee the build-out of their retail stores across the United States, including managing the architectural documentation, and construction phases for all retail store build outs and store renovations each year.

·          This person will assist in the development of the capital budgets and schedules for each project.

Vice President of Design and Development – Mid Atlantic
A national retailer with over 1500 stores and is looking for a Vice President of Design and Development.  This person will be based in the Mid Atlantic.  The company is adding 125 new stores a year and is looking for someone that will have strategic oversight for all functions related to the design, due diligence, construction, and set-up of all new stores, which includes both Self Development and Build to Suit projects consisting of freestanding pad sites as well as up-fits of in line space, and the relocation or remodel of existing stores.  These responsibilities include procurement of Owner furnished items such as signage, HVAC, fixtures, etc., contract administration, quality control, and adherence to all building standards.  Additionally, the Vice President has responsibility for all staffing initiatives within the department and the growth and development of that staff.  The staff will include 5 direct reports of Director of Store Set Up, Director of Store planning and Design and 3 Directors of Construction . Director, Retail Real Estate Planning - OH based
We are working with a retailer that is over 100 years old and is a leader in their industry.  They have over 700 retail locations across the US and will be adding about 30 new stores a year as well as relocating approximately 20-30 stores a year.  They are looking to add a new position that will oversee all of the retail development nationwide.  The Director will be responsible for the strategic direction and management of all retail real estate strategies, growth plans and markets, identification and approval of sites, store build-out, store lay-out, store openings, closings, relocations, acquisitions and maintenance activities.  This person will manage a staff including Manager of Store Planning and Facilities Manager and indirectly manage the 6 Real Estate Managers out in the field that handle the site selection (see detailed description below).
