Analysis to support structured transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning.  Must have experience in analysis of the affects of carbon legislation and gas on power generation.

Northeast Basis Trader PJM
National integrated commodity trading and marketing client has a position for a power trader with experience trading northeast power in PJM Western Hub.  This is a new position that will focus on trading power in the PJM Western Hub.  This person will work on a team of 5 traders and be willing to share information in a team environment.  Initial goal is to produce a P&L of 1 to 3  Million in first 2 years.  Long term goal is to produce P&L of 10 Million. 

With strong approach, either Inter-pool (PJM to MISO HUBS, PJM to NYISO HUBS) and Intra pool (WEST HUB/AD, AD/NI HUB) SPREADS experience.  Looking for a curve up to one year, cash is a plus but not necessary. Half Million VAR for individual in early stages.  Candidate may trade various instruments to achieve the P&L goal, as long as the main strategy is power-oriented.   For example:  can trade Heat rates and power options within the guidelines of the term and VaR.
