revolves around Asset Management, Gas Storage, Trading & Marketing. You will
analyze and report position, and profit and loss (P/L); (e.g., cash monthly
physical, cash monthly financial, cash month transportation, storage) by region.
Assists in developing and implementing models and applications for reporting
risk information. Analyzes and reports compliance.
Responsibilities: Analyzes, reconciles and reports daily position and P/L for market moves, day over day shift, and impact of changes to new and existing deals. Aggregates and reviews Daily Position Report for accuracy, mark-to-market, valuation, liquidity, and operational risks

Senior Quantitative Analyst to perform highly complex energy market analysis.
Core focus includes:
Advanced model development for pricing energy derivatives, retail load deals,
structured transactions and physical energy assets. Additional requirements
include understanding of physical and financial instruments, options, FTR, ARR,
cross-commodity products, price and load forecasting, optimization, simulations,
risk management) Advanced computer skills in Visual Basic, VBA, Matlab, C/C++,
@Risk, SQL. Degree in Engineering, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or
related field.
You will provide complex
quantitative analysis of cross commodity markets, electricity, natural gas,
emissions, to extract value and structure transactions.

Vice President Of Origination
(Gas & Power) – Midwest

Real Time Traders- Denver
Will use physical and financial market tools to analyze historical transactions
and market fundamentals. Optimize physical assets,
wholesale transactions, and retail supply in the real time environment. Will
identify market opportunities through the development of trends and projections
to assess project economics. Execute transactions and schedule real-time
(hourly) energy purchases and sales in response to changing market conditions.
Make adjustments to energy purchases, market offers, NERC tags and generator
output to adjust to changes in the market. Structure and facilitate effective
and reliable movement of power through multiple parties and jurisdictions while
assuring that NERC, FERC and state regulations are met. Create opportunities
for participation in the marketplace through the building of relationships with

Sr. Pricing Analyst- New Jersey
Responsibilities:
Model energy assets and complex transactions including power generation, tolling
transactions, load following/full requirements transactions, sales off of
existing assets, asset acquisitions, storage options, fuel transportation, and
long term fixed price energy purchases and sales by utilizing a variety of
internal and external valuation models.
Manage large scale and complex valuation projects from the perspective of the
Structure desk. Perform various sensitivity and scenario analyses on current
and potential transactions.
Qualifications:
Experience with structured transaction valuation and electricity and fuels
forward analysis. Experience in a consulting/project-oriented environment is a
plus.
Advanced knowledge of asset valuation, transaction valuation, and electricity
and fuel pricing fundamentals.

Sr. Market Analyst-
Transmission, New York, New Jersey
You will be part of the Power Finance’s quantitative analysis team.
Responsibilities include market tracking, fundamental power market forecasts and
gross margin projections for existing generation portfolios and prospective
projects. Developing forecasts of fuel, emission and power prices, using both
in-house fundamental models and external market sources; forecasting the
profitability of a portfolio of generating units, load contracts and hedges.
This includes third-party assets or development opportunities, for use in
economic cost benefit analysis of potential transactions, major investments,
asset life-cycle decisions, business planning and strategy; and effectively
communicating these forecasts to the rest of the company and fostering the
development of a consensus forecast view. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors
degree in Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative discipline, or
equivalent experience. Experience in wholesale power markets. In-depth
production cost modeling experience (e.g. Promod, Prosym, Aurora, UPlan, etc.),
preferably in nodal configuration. Good understanding of LMP construct.
