Database Administrator
Our client is looking for a Database Administrator to manage and administer the enterprise database platforms as well as provide logistical support, monitoring and management of the enterprise application servers.  Day to day responsibilities include backup and recovery methods, processes and execution, operating system maintenance and configuration for the supported platforms, database design, development, security and user administration, stored procedures and trigger development, batch scheduling of jobs and tasks and data maintenance, reporting and query development.  In addition to supporting the database platform, the application platform will also be supported by the DBA which includes any middleware server and software used in support of business systems.

A college degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science) and 4 years practical experience administering a RDBMS such as SQL Server, DB2 or Oracle, including optimization and tuning, backup and recovery, database development and normalization, stored procedure and trigger development and job/task scheduling as well as 4 years practical experience managing application, database and file server operating systems are required.  Additional server side experiences with web servers, terminal servers, license servers and domain servers a plus.  A mastery of high level programming languages, database design and enterprise oriented solutions is also required and System Administration certifications in SQL Server, Oracle or DB2 are recommended.  Ref# 1428582 Contact: kdawson@rwr.com

Application Support Specialist -  Equipment Maintenance
Our client is looking for an Application Support Specialist to support their enterprise application software for PeopleSoft Asset Maintenance module (equipment maintenance).  This support includes administration, configuration and maintenance of the software and the secondary function of the job is to assist with new application implementations and the enhancement of existing applications.

You will become familiar with selected PeopleSoft FSM modules, specifically PeopleSoft Asset Maintenance module (Equipment maintenance).  Required PeopleSoft modules specialty are Inventory, Purchasing and Asset Maintenance.  Day to day responsibilities are assisting in configuration of modules, conducting testing of modules, developing user training documentation, participating/managing implementation teams and providing user support after "go-live".  Domestic and international travel required.  PeopleSoft, Excel and Word are required, while J.D. Peoplesoft Developer
Our client is looking for a PeopleSoft Developer to develop customizations and bolt-on applications based on design criteria.  They will maintain, enhance and support development projects, customizations and new applications.  Opportunities exist to work within all aspects of a project including; design and conception, project management, development, support and logistics.

A minimum of a BS degree in a related field (i.e. computer science, MIS, etc.) and a minimum of four years of practical experience working as a developer at the enterprise level relating to multi-tier applications and distributed components.  The developer should be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume as well as apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.  The primary development tool is Application Designer.  You should have a strong skill set in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine and Integration Broker.  Database experience should include a clear understanding of SQL script writing in ANSI standard as well as DB2 specific SQL extensions.  Practical knowledge of Excel macros and interfaces as well as Microsoft Project for the various PeopleSoft interfaces is required.  Ref# 1428567 Contact: kdawson@rwr.com

Java Developer - Jacksonville FL
Our client is looking for a Java Developer to join their team responsible for eCommerce / web development to design, develop and deliver service based solutions, support implementation and enhancement of Rules engine(s) and create integrations between web portal and existing LOS.  They will also participate in the development of the data warehouse and analyze, make recommendations and implement enhancements to current in-house origination system.

3-5 years of experience in software development, 2+ years of programming experience in object-oriented design using Java and 2+ years of programming experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other RDBMS is ideal.  Must have web/SOA programming experience, a desire to explore rich internet applications such as Flex / Flash, Open Laszlo and the ability to code web-based JAVA applications running on Windows and Solaris environments.  You should also use the latest tools and techniques (currently J2EE, XML, Web Services) and develop and automate JAVA Unit tests using JUnit.  Experience developing in JUnit and Ant, application frameworks (Struts, Spring) and software development methodologies (Iterative, Agile) is required.  The developer will bring with them a full understanding of the development lifecycle and demonstrable skills in algorithm development and problem solving.

Support Analyst/Programmer - Houston, TX
Our client is looking for a motivated Support/Analyst Programmer to provide IT services.  This person should bring knowledge and experience of VBA, Excel, Visual Basic, SQL, Crystal Reports, UNIX and Java and/or C++.

Daily activities include maintaining trading systems, relationship building, developing ad-hoc applications in VBA (Excel), Visual Basic, Java, C#, C++ and Crystal Reports, single point of contact on support issues, business and the infrastructure liaison and resolving requests in a timely manner.

Dealing Room Support Specialist - Houston, TX
Our client is seeking a Dealing Room Support Specialist.  This person provides the highest level of technical hands-on support for staff that is located within the Houston office, focusing on the dealing room environment.  They should be able to regularly work out of normal business hours, often at short notice (on call).

Daily activities include some technical project management, customer service and relationship building, planning and testing, maintaining and supporting engineering standards, business liaising and leading support activity.

Previous experience should include working in a similar role, strong desktop skills, excellent customer relationship management skills, ability to effectively communicate across all lines of business, Market Data skills (Bloomberg, CQG, Reuters), Active Directory and Exchange, Intel servers, UNIX/Linux, Telco technologies, Capacity Planning and Performance Analysis, Remote Access and VPN, Voice systems (PBX, Dealer Voice, Voice Recording), manage 3rd level vendor support and a good understanding of networks.

Application Developer
The Application Developer serves as the primary team member on the broad PeopleSoft implementation and deployment project and develops interfaces connecting the PeopleSoft environment with external applications both commercially and internally developed.  This person develops new PeopleSoft applications and/or functionality in support of operations and business systems as well as customizations and bolt-on applications based on design criteria.  They will also maintain, enhance and support PeopleSoft development projects and customizations and must be prepared to work within all aspects of a project including; design and conception, project management, development, support and logistics.

A BS degree in a related field (i.e. computer science, MIS, etc.) and 4 years developing multi-tier applications and distributed components at the enterprise level are required.  You should also have very strong object-oriented analysis and design skills, advanced C# programming experience and experience in development of ASP.NET Web Services, enterprise Web Applications and enterprise Windows Forms in C#.  Experience with VB6 programming language is a must as well as experience using Install Shield (we use v11.5, but any experience is ok).  Ref# 1427859 Contact: kdawson@rwr.com
