Compensation Analyst

Plans, develops and
implements compensation policies, programs and practices on a company-wide
basis. Administration of the base pay, variable pay (e.g. bonus awards) and
equity (e.g. stock options, restricted stock) programs. Involvement in salary
surveys, job analysis, report preparation for various levels of management as
well as provide day-to-day support to Human Resource Consultants and management.
* Market analysis, base pay and other projects as assigned.*
Current and proposed job descriptions to determine proper placement within pay
structure.
* Variety of salary surveys using Excel, SAP and compensation database. Analyze
results to evaluate competitiveness of current compensation programs.
* Gather initial bonus plan measures and prepare results on a quarterly basis.
Work with Internal Audit to certify year end results.
* Assist in the base pay and bonus allocation process. Prepare compensation
system for management use. Prepare reports for Salary and Benefits committee
approval of proposed bonus payments and base pay increases.
* Work with Tax, Accounting and Legal, to ensure compliance with applicable laws
and regulations.
* Knowledge of Microsoft products with a high proficiency in Excel is required
and SAP experience preferred. Accuracy and maintaining confidentiality is a
must. 3-5 years of compensation experience required.

Looking for a responsible Human Resources professional to provide experience in Employee Relations, compliance with labor agreements, representing the Company during arbitration hearings and grievances, managing recruiting and staffing, training, relocation, compensation, policy implementation, site medical function, EEO, legal compliance, organizational development, talent management and performance management. Importance to this position is interacting with other managers, supervisors, operators, and various other employees on a daily basis to ensure HR solutions are implemented and deliverable results are achieved. Most work is done via established relationships, which is essential in analyzing and resolving department, site and cross site issues.
