Information Management (HIM) Director - TX
A for profit, acute care hospital licensed for just under 100 beds is looking
for an HIM Director for their full-service, JCAHO accredited facility which
offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including ER, ICU and
new OB and surgery units. The hospital is located south of DFW in a city with a
low cost of living, great school districts, comfortable weather, parks, museums
and historic downtown shopping. The HIM Director implements and supports all
corporate HIM activities by providing support to HIM departments at the facility
level for department operations, reimbursement opportunities, and program
implementation. Responsible for performing hospital site visits to assess the
efficiency of the HIM departments' operations, providing orientation and
education for HIM staff, coordinating hospital HIM functions with the clinical
operations departments to enhance the physician-hospital relationship.
Qualifications include RHIT or RHIA certified, 3 years minimum HIM management

Coder - Southwest

for their facility located in a quaint community with close to 360 days a year
of sunshine, low cost of living, and a great place for outdoor enthusiasts. The
Coder codes diagnosis and procedures from medical records for the purpose of
reimbursement, research and compliance with regulations; enters codes and
statistical data into information system; coordinates follow-up to assure
records are coded and data entered consistent with requirements. Qualifications
include High school diploma or equivalent; formal education in coding preferred;
formal education in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology or equivalent

enthusiasts. The Coding Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Director in
supervising the department's coding and billing related responsibilities to
ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations; updating coding policies and
procedures; identifies and institutes best practices to improve processes;
monitors productivity and quality of work performed by coding team; identifies
ways to improve productivity and educates team members to improve quality;
evaluating staff performance; utilizes evaluation as an effective management
tool; prepares for audits/reviews; demonstrates the ability to provide
leadership in complex assignments and the organization and performance of tasks
and responsibilities at a proficient level; maintains a professional
relationship with the medical staff, ancillary departments, coworkers and
members of outside agencies; conducts coding section orientation and in-service

Chief Quality Officer
Along with our client, we are conducting a search for a Chief Quality Officer.
The facility is a 100+ bed community hospital affiliated with one of the largest
publicly traded hospital companies in the nation. The Chief Quality Officer
will be responsible for Quality Management, Regulatory Compliance, Risk,
Infection Control and the quality improvement processes. This position reports
to the CEO, who is very dynamic and progressive, in the less than two years he
has been with the hospital the team has successfully increased Core Measures
from 83% to 93%. Other quality indicators and satisfaction surveys have
increased as well. This is a visible role within the organization and will be a

Vice President of Physician
Management (Hospital-based) in New Mexico
We are working with a 99 bed stand alone hospital in New Mexico. This is a
traditional acute care hospital with Sole Community Hospital (SCH) status. The
facility maintains a healthy census. We seek a Vice President Of Physician
Management. This V.P. will be responsible for all employed physician practices
which include 18 physicians. These are mostly primary care physicians and OB
with 3 mid wives. The requirements for this position are an MBA/MHA with a
minimum 5 years experience in multi-physician environments. Excellent
communication skills, especially as that relates to their ability to communicate
with physicians and get the physicians to understand and buy into the hospitals
efforts to improve all aspects of the physician practices.

a Director of Patient Financial Services. This Director will report to the VP
of Revenue and supervise a staff of 12 in the areas of collections, medical
records, and medical documentation. The position is open due to growth; the
company has almost doubled in size since 2007 and is doing very well
financially. The organization has over 60 sites and 90% of the billing is done

This person must have years of progressive experience in AR management with a
